What is a "fairy dish?"  Whimsical and delicate to match the nature of "fairie," this small, decorative dish was originally thought to serve tiny treats or snacks to these whimsical, delicate creatures found in folklore.  Today, these petite pottery plates can be used for all sorts of things--a tea caddy, a ring dish,  soaps, or even for paper clips at the office.
