Maya's rescue tale

Originally rescued from a puppy mill and meat market in South Korea, Maya was one of 15 lucky pups flown to California around 2017 to start a new life. Her journey wasn’t easy, but it led her to the most loving family.

Fun fact: when she first arrived, her new parents quickly realized that Maya didn’t speak english. But don’t worry—these days, she’s fluent, full of personality, and a total globe-trotter. We absolutely loved meeting Maya and hearing her incredible story. She’s proof that resilience comes in the tiniest, fluffiest packages.
