Meet Margarita a 12-year-old Chihuahua from Frankfort may be tiny, but she has a gentle spirit that fills the room. Unlike the feisty reputation Chihuahuas sometimes get, this little lady is calm, sweet, and completely devoted to her mama—never wanting to be far from her side.Her story began in an unexpected way. She was found along the side of the road, so small that at first glance, someone thought she might be a rabbit. She was taken to a shelter, where she waited… and waited… but no one came to adopt her.

That turned out to be fate. The very people who brought her in couldn’t stop thinking about her, and eventually decided she belonged with them all along. The rest is a happy ending filled with love, loyalty, and one tiny companion who has found exactly where she was meant to be.We loved meeting this sweet little Frankfort girl and hearing her remarkable story.
