Capturing Moments: Piper joins Galaxi Photography during the Japan/American Festival

We had a special four-legged visitor during the Japan/American Festival in downtown Frankfort—Piper, a 7-year-old Yorkie mix, stopped by our store to do a little exploring! She brought along her human and a whole lot of personality.While roaming around, Piper stumbled upon Galaxi’s Photography (check out her facebook page!) setting up for a Japanese themed photo shoot in our upstairs event space. Her human decided to jump in on the fun, and Piper did so well! While she's usually a bit camera-shy, this time she was all smiles (and tongue!)—happy to oblige and clearly enjoying her moment in the spotlight.

After the official shoot wrapped up, we thought we’d try snapping a few casual shots of Piper around the store—but she had other ideas. Turns out, she was way more interested in the beautiful wall art surrounding her (and honestly, we can’t blame her!). We’re proud to feature the work of so many talented Kentucky artists—it’s easy to get distracted!Here's a hilarious quirk about Piper: she’ll dive head-first to the ground and just wait for you to drag her little body around. And if you don’t? You’ll get that classic Piper look that says, "You know what to do."

We loved having Piper visit and hope to see her (and that sassy Yorkie energy) again soon. Until next time, Piper!
