Brownie - small pup, big chill

We had the pleasure of meeting the chillest little adventurer — Brownie, a 5-year-old apple head Chihuahua visiting all the way from Wisconsin! Brownie may be small, but she has a story as big as her ears are adorable. Her humans originally fostered her from a puppy mill, thinking she was a miniature pinscher. But as time went on, they realized she’s actually an apple head Chihuahua — which unfortunately happens all too often in unethical breeding operations.

These mills often prioritize quantity over care, mislabeling breeds and pushing dogs to breed as much as possible. Brownie is one of the lucky ones — rescued, loved, and living her best life now with her amazing family. When we met her, she was winding down from a full day of exploring, and let us tell you — she was pure zen. (look at that face!) Calm, cuddly, and just soaking in the vibes of our store. We’re honored she stopped by and hope she’ll visit us again the next time she’s adventuring through our neck of the woods. Until then, safe travels, Brownie — and thank you for being a reminder that even the tiniest dogs can have the mightiest stories.
