Blue Belle the retired racing Greyhound

Meet Blue Belle. This sweet girl made our Candlelight Weekend extra special. Blue Belle is a 4-year-old retired greyhound who stopped by to warm up, get cozy, and soak in all the love here in Frankfort.Wrapped in the most gorgeous crocheted shawl, she was the definition of cozy charm — a true style icon while she relaxed and greeted visitors We learned some pretty amazing things about her, too — greyhounds can reach speeds up to 45 mph in just three strides (yes, really!). Blue Belle raced for about a year before retiring in summer 2024, and now she’s fully embracing the slow, snuggly life she deserves.

From race track to cozy corner, she’s proof that the best chapters come after the finish line.
