A Walk Downtown with Coach: The Dog Who Knows All the Best Stops

Meet Coach a 7-year-old mixed breed with a personality so big, it could fill up downtown Frankfort. In fact, the dog walkers (he has five!) affectionately call him “Mr. Frankfort” because he’s basically a local celebrity around here. He’s always out and about, strutting his stuff, and making sure to stop by all his favorite stores. (Yes, he has a list!)And today we had the pleasure of meeting him! We’ve been hearing rumors that Coach is a bit of a treat connoisseur, so naturally, we pulled out all the stops. We had treats ready for him — all in the name of winning his heart.We tossed him a few of his favorite treats (which, we must admit, may have been a little bribe to win his loyalty) and watched as he gave us a tail-wagging stamp of approval. But the fun didn’t stop there. Coach's dog walker let him explore the aisles, and we couldn’t help but notice how perfectly he blends into our store’s vibe. He’s the kind of dog that makes any place feel a little bit brighter, a little bit more exciting.

Coach spent a good amount of time “shopping” with us, checking out our Kentucky made work.

We’re hoping Coach will make us his new favorite store (treats for the win, right?). After all, who could resist our dog-friendly atmosphere and the promise of a few delicious snacks? If you’re in the area and spot Mr. Frankfort making his rounds, be sure to wave — he might just stop by for a visit.
