Rent a Room with a View!
The Old Capitol Meeting Room has a fabulous view of the Old State Capitol and is available for individuals or groups. It's the perfect place for an intimate gathering or hard-core business meeting. Rates are $30/hr, while Completely Kentucky is open and $40/hr before or after store hours - but the view is always free!Check the calendar for availability, and please include the time and date in the Order Note section on the checkout page, or call us at 502-223-5240. We look forward to your visit. Here are some questions that are often asked about our meeting room.
- Where is the Old Capitol Meeting Room? It’s located on the second floor of Completely Kentucky, with a stunning view of Frankfort’s Old Capitol Building. We do not have an elevator.
- How many people can fit? We can accommodate up to 36 at tables (for dining, group work or poker tournaments) or up to 50 in lecture style seating in the Old Capitol Meeting Room, however, we suggest no more than 25 if you are planning on square dancing or limbo!
- What about catering? Can I bring my own food and drinks? Yes, please bring any food or drink you like, trash and recycle are available on site. The Kentucky Coffeetree Cafe (next door) can cater too - menu and contact available at: order.kentuckycoffeetree.com
- How is the room arranged? The room is set with five 30”x 60” tables as a large centered table, a library table (120” x 40”) against one wall and two 36” x 36” tables with a variety of chairs. You are welcome to rearrange it to suit your needs, but please return the room to it’s original setup at the end of your reservation.
- How big is the room? 20’ x 30’ with four 8’ windows!
- How much does it cost? The Old Capitol Meeting Room is $30 per hour.
- Do I pay in advance? Yes, please at the time of reservation.
- How do I pay for the room? We accept cash, check and all major credit cards. You can also pay on the web site or by phone: 502-223-5240.
- What if we need more time? If there is no reservation following the end of your reservation, then you will owe for the extra time that you use. This is calculated in 15 minute increments.
- Is there a restroom? Yes, turn left at the top of the stairs.
- Is there wi-fi? Yes! Please ask at the counter for the current password.
- What about powerpoint presentations? Most of the walls are suitable for projector use with blinds available upon request.
- Is there a cleaning fee? No, we do not have a cleaning fee built into the rental. We expect the room to be left as it was when you arrived. Unplanned cleaning services have a $35 service charge.
- How do I find out if the room is available? Check out the calendar here OR call us at 502-223-5240
- What happens if there is inclement weather? Completely Kentucky remains open unless conditions endanger our customers or staff Please call to verify in the case of inclement weather.
- What if I need to cancel? We understand that events change and hope to make your time with us as pleasant as possible. Cancelations within two weeks of event will receive a store credit, cancellations within 48 hours notice will receive a 50% store credit. Cancelations within 48 hours receive no refund.
