Hello everyone, my name is Meredith Thomas and I have returned to the bluegrass state. Being from a little city called Falls Church (close to the D.C. area), Frankfort has always been my home away from home.
Please join us as we celebrate the holiday season with ART in the heart of downtown Frankfort! We have a large selection of new artwork and new artists from across the state of KY. Stop in to see what's new.
What a great time we had visiting with our friends and neighbors during the sixth annual Small Business Saturday. Completely Kentucky was crowded with shoppers, selecting amazing Kentucky made work, sipping mulled cider, tasting bourbon sauce and cream cheese, signing up to win a $25 gift card, and enjoying shopping for a change!
When you choose to shop at a locally owned store, 68% of money you spend stays in your community. Unfortunately, that is not the case with the money spent at nationally owned chain stores, as most of that is transferred out of state immediately.
2013 Small Business Saturday: The mat outside our front door read “Welcome to the neighborhood.”
That’s exactly how it felt as downtown Frankfort was crowded with happy shoppers during the fifth annual Small Business Saturday (SBS). We had a great time visiting with our friends and neighbors as they shopped and were happy to welcome many new faces to Completely Kentucky.

Completely Kentucky featured on "The Local Traveler" on WKYT November 17, 2012
We were thrilled to be interviewed by Amy Hess, the host of "The Local Traveler" when she stopped by our booth at the Kentucky Proud Incredible Food Show a couple of weeks ago. She was very interested in our food baskets with are full of Kentucky Proud foods and Kentucky made crafts. We demonstrated making one for the show. Amy was intrigued by several other pieces we had in the booth including Yardbirds' "good dog/bad dog," cookie dunkers, "reading glasses," and salad tongs.
We celebrated Frankfort's finest TRADITION at Completely Kentucky! Nov. 8-11, 2012
We really enjoyed the 2012 Candlelight Tour in historic downtown Frankfort. For over 30 years people have enjoyed visiting with friends and exploring the many downtown shops and restaurants. Lots of entertainment was planned including, the KSU marching band, the Army Band, folk dancing, carriage rides, historic home tours, tree lighting and much more.
2011: A Candlelight Miracle
For over thirty years, the downtown merchants, restaurants, churches and attractions have invited the public to the annual Candlelight Tour. Originally held the first Monday evening after election day it now spans four days over a weekend. The Tour epitomizes what is best about our community, with local entertainment, lots to see and numerous opportunities to visit with friends. For many, Candlelight is a magical time when downtown transforms into the Frankfort of years past.
